Advancing Child Health. Strengthening Paediatric Care. Shaping a Healthier Future.

Welcome to the Uganda Paediatric Association (UPA) — a professional body bringing together paediatricians and child health professionals to improve the health, survival and well-being of children and adolescents across Uganda.

Since 1993, UPA has championed excellence in paediatric healthcare through professional development, medical education, research, policy advocacy and strategic partnerships. We work alongside the Ministry of Health, universities, healthcare institutions and development partners to strengthen health systems and promote access to quality, equitable and evidence-based healthcare for every child.

From advancing newborn and adolescent health to supporting immunisation programmes, developing national clinical guidelines and strengthening the skills of healthcare professionals, UPA continues to play an important role in shaping the future of child healthcare in Uganda.

Our commitment is simple: better healthcare for every child, stronger support for every family and a healthier future for generations to come.
